This Cookie Policy explains how LesterTechLabs LTD (“LesterTechLabs”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar tracking technologies when you visit our websites, use our web applications, access developer dashboards, or interact with our online services.
This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Where we refer to “cookies” in this policy, we include comparable technologies such as web beacons, pixels, tags, SDKs, and local storage unless stated otherwise.

You may manage your preferences as described in Section 8.

1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, tablet, or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, remember preferences, improve user experience, and provide information to site owners.
Cookies may be:
- First-party cookies — set by LesterTechLabs on domains we operate (such as lestertechlabs.com).
- Third-party cookies — set by external providers whose services appear on our pages (such as analytics or embedded content providers).
- Session cookies — temporary cookies deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a defined period or until you delete them.
We also use related technologies including:
- Local storage and session storage — browser storage used to remember settings such as theme preference (light/dark mode).
- Pixels and web beacons — tiny graphics used to understand email open rates or page interactions.
- Server-side logs — not cookies, but may record similar device and usage identifiers for security and operations.
2. Why We Use Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- authenticate users and maintain secure login sessions;
- remember your preferences and settings across visits;
- enable core website functionality and load balancing;
- protect against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access;
- understand how visitors use our websites and products so we can improve them;
- measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
We classify cookies into the following categories:
3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the operation of our websites and Services. They enable core functions such as page navigation, secure area access, CSRF protection, session management, and load distribution. Without these cookies, services you request (such as logging into your Account) cannot be provided. These cookies do not require consent under most privacy laws because they are necessary for the Service.
3.2 Functional Cookies
Functional cookies allow us to remember choices you make and provide enhanced, personalized features. Examples include language selection, theme preference, dismissed banner states, and recently viewed documentation pages. If you disable functional cookies, some features may not work as expected.
3.3 Analytics and Performance Cookies
These cookies and local storage keys help us understand how visitors interact with our websites by collecting first-party usage statistics (pages viewed, interactive clicks and CTAs, scroll depth milestones, referrer, device type, and approximate location derived from IP address). We store truncated or hashed IP addresses for abuse prevention and geo aggregation — not full IP addresses in staff dashboards. Analytics runs only after you Accept via our consent banner (or an equivalent preference). We use this information to improve navigation, fix errors, optimize performance, and prioritize product development.
3.4 Marketing and Advertising Cookies
Marketing cookies may be used to deliver relevant advertisements, measure campaign performance, and limit the number of times you see a particular message. They may track your visits across websites to build a profile of interests. We use marketing cookies only where permitted by law and, where required, with your consent.

5. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are placed by third-party services that appear on our pages or that we integrate for functionality. These providers may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites. Third parties we may use include:
- Cloud infrastructure and CDN providers — for performance, security, and DDoS protection.
- Analytics providers — such as Google Analytics or privacy-focused alternatives, to measure site usage.
- Authentication providers — such as Google or GitHub OAuth when you choose social login.
- Payment processors — when you complete a checkout flow on our platform.
- Embedded content — such as videos, maps, or social widgets on marketing pages.
- Customer support tools — such as chat widgets on sales or support pages.
We do not control third-party cookies. Please review the privacy and cookie policies of those providers for details on their practices and opt-out options.
6. Cookies in Our Products and Dashboards
When you use LesterTechLabs products (including Lester PaaS, PassTIA, MediSawa, developer dashboards, and API consoles), additional cookies may be used to:
- maintain authenticated sessions across product subdomains where configured;
- store UI state, filters, and workspace preferences;
- enable real-time features and websocket connections;
- support API documentation search and developer sandbox sessions; and
- collect product analytics to improve reliability and feature adoption.
Business customers deploying our products to their own users may configure additional cookies or authentication mechanisms. In those cases, the customer’s cookie policy may also apply to end users.
7. Cookie Duration
Cookie lifetimes vary depending on purpose:
- Session cookies expire when you close your browser.
- Persistent authentication cookies may last up to fourteen (14) days or as configured in your Account security settings.
- Preference cookies typically last six (6) to twelve (12) months unless you clear them sooner.
- Analytics cookies may persist from twenty-four (24) hours up to twenty-four (24) months depending on the provider.
- Marketing cookies vary by campaign and provider, generally between thirty (30) days and thirteen (13) months.
You can delete cookies at any time through your browser settings, as described below.
8. How to Manage Cookies
8.1 Cookie Preference Center
Where available on our website, you can manage non-essential cookie categories through our cookie banner or preference center. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled because they are required for the site to function.
8.2 Browser Settings
Most browsers allow you to refuse, delete, or block cookies. Methods vary by browser:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies
Blocking all cookies may prevent you from using certain features, including signing in to your Account or completing checkout.
8.3 Mobile Devices
Mobile operating systems may provide advertising identifiers and tracking controls in device settings (such as “Limit Ad Tracking” on iOS or advertising settings on Android). Refer to your device manufacturer’s documentation for details.
8.4 Analytics Opt-Out
Where Google Analytics is used, you may install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Some analytics providers offer their own opt-out mechanisms listed in their privacy policies.
8.5 Marketing Opt-Out
You may opt out of marketing emails via unsubscribe links regardless of cookie settings. Industry opt-out tools for interest-based advertising include:
9. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. There is no universally accepted standard for how websites should respond to DNT. Currently, we do not alter our practices solely in response to DNT signals, but we honor applicable legal requirements and consent choices you express through our cookie banner or browser settings where technically feasible.
Where supported, we recognize Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out preference for certain types of data processing under applicable US state privacy laws, to the extent required and technically feasible.
10. Legal Bases
Our use of cookies is supported by the following legal bases, depending on cookie type and your jurisdiction:
- Strictly necessary cookies — legitimate interests or contractual necessity to provide the Service you request.
- Functional cookies — legitimate interests in improving user experience, or consent where required.
- Analytics cookies — consent where the law that applies to you requires it, or legitimate interests where that law permits them.
- Marketing cookies — consent where required by law.
For more information about how personal data collected via cookies is processed, see our Privacy Policy.
11. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our practices. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page and, where required, display a revised cookie notice or request renewed consent for non-essential cookies.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our websites after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy, except where further consent is legally required.
